On June 14, Foley Hoag LLP (“Foley Hoag”) will host the Massachusetts Export Center’s Export Regulatory Compliance Update. The event will feature a range of speakers addressing export compliance issues and regulatory trends, including representatives from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
Numerous attorneys from Foley Hoag will be speaking at the event. Representing the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility practice, I will be speaking on a panel on global supply chain regulations, including new requirements specific to the origin and characteristics of products.
The panel on global supply chain regulations will cover new disclosure requirements and import bans that require companies to have robust systems in place to conduct due diligence on issues ranging from the conditions under which goods were produced to the national origin of the workers producing those goods. The panel will review recent developments in global supply chain compliance, and discuss both the challenges and best practices to meet these challenges.
The event will be held at Foley Hoag’s Boston office Information on registration is available here.
